The program is based on 15+ years of in-depth research and business practice and has been delivered until 2020 to select partners only. From 2021, we have decided to open the program to all organizations across sectors and geographies.

The Economics of Mutuality (EoM) is a groundbreaking management innovation that enables companies to adopt a fair and responsible form of capitalism that performs better than the purely financial version operating today. Its robust methodology and cutting-edge tools transform business at the core – going beyond peripheral approaches such as CSR and ESG that are motivated by compliance.

Three key ideas lie behind EoM:

  1. The primacy of purpose in driving strategy. 

  2. The power of orchestrating ecosystems at business unit level around purpose to mobilize and enhance untapped resources and value.

  3. The importance of enhancing performance management across multiple forms of capital — social, human, natural and shared financial — to drive holistic value creation.

The Oxford Executive Education program provides hands-on training that equips senior leaders to implement EoM at the heart of their company’s operations. 

In the past, the program took place in Oxford face-to-face, but last year it went virtual due to the pandemic. We plan to resume the in-person version once Covid-19 restrictions have lifted, while continuing to offer the virtual program as well.


We must move beyond business-as-usual and work together in solidarity to deliver the greatest impact for people, prosperity, and the planet.
